1. All phases of soil and rock mechanics investigation including
geotechnical , geological and hydrogeological field and laboratory
testing and report preparation dealing with stability of foundations and
recommendations on economical foundation design in several sites of the
following Egyptian regions :
Cairo; Alexandria; Giza; Kalubia; Dahaklia; Monofia; Sharkia; Sinai; Red
Sea; Beni swif; Sohaq; Aloksor; Aswan; Kafr- Elshikh; Ismalia; Suez;
Port-Said; Domiatte; Marsi Matrouh 6th October city; El-ouber city; Badr
city; 10th Ramadan city; El- Shorouq city; El-Ameria city; El-Sadate
city and Nasr city.
2. Visting Professor at School of Civil, Urban& Geosystem Engineering ,
Seoul National University, South Korea, Juin 1 – 12, 2003 and
Contribution to a research project entitled "Determination of durability
of monument stone using the digital image technique."
3. Visting Professor at Public Work Research Institute (PWRI), Ministry
of Construction, Tuskuba City, Japan, from May 15, 1998 to August 15,
1998 and Contribution to a research project entitled "Envionmental
Impact on The Durability of Some Egyptian and Japanese Limestones."
4. Visting Professor at University of Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A., from
January 1, 1992 to Juin 1 1992 and contribution in a research project
entitled "Effect of Swelling Percentage on the Shearing Strength of a
Compacted Liner Material".
5. Visting Professor at INPL, Nancy, France, from September 1 to
December 1, 1990 and Contribution to a research project entitled
"Measurement of Collapsing Potential and Permeability of an Egyptian
Cemented Sand Using Triaxial Apparatus."
6. Geotechnical engineer for Consortium of Several European Companies
from January 1, 1981 to October 31, 1984 in the Following Projects in
France:
- Earth Dam of Haute Saison, Lyon, France.
- Rock Tunnel between Nantia in France and Swiss.
- Nuclear Power Station of Cattenom, Thion-Ville, France.
7. Geotechnical engineer for a petroleum pipeline project between Suez
and Helwan in Egypt Including Construction of 200 mm Dim. R.C. Pipe
lines of 100 km length from October 1, 1974 to July 31 1975.
